Meeting for all to attend to express opinion on Theddlethorpe GDF
GDF Visit to Village Hall. Thursday 7th December 1:30pm - 3:30pm
This is YOUR chance to influence NWS's view on the level of public opposition / support that exists in the village.
This visit by Nuclear Waste Services (NWS) is not an information or promotional visit as previously, the purpose of the visit is to gauge YOUR opinion on the potential GDF (Geological Disposal Facility) at Theddlethorpe.
As I sit on the Community Partnership (CP) I am aware that NWS are increasingly keen on the potential of siting a GDF in Theddlethorpe (and surrounding area), however one of the biggest questions they have is the level of public opposition / support.
Please, please visit the Village Hall and record your views on the GDF- they can help influence the project and certainly the timing of a formal test of Public Support. Even if you feel unaffected by this due to the timescale involved, I would ask you to please turn up and encourage your neighbours and friends to do the same and record your views.
