12th October 2024 - Litter Pick
The local community is gearing up for a parish-wide litter pick on Saturday, 12th October 2024. The event will commence at 10 a.m. from the Village Hall, where volunteers will gather before setting off to tidy up the surrounding areas.
Organised by the Parish Council, the litter pick is part of an ongoing initiative to maintain the village's beauty and cleanliness. All residents are encouraged to participate, regardless of age or ability. Equipment, including bags and litter pickers, will be provided at the start.
“We’re hoping for a strong turnout,” said a Parish Council spokesperson. “It’s a brilliant opportunity for everyone to contribute to keeping our village clean, and it’s also a chance to meet neighbours and enjoy the outdoors.”
