Meeting Opened at 19.00

Mr Osborne asked if Cllr Harrison’s address had changed? We presumed it was the same. It was mentioned that Councillors do not have to have their address public knowledge. Cllr Acklam suggested the he contact ELDC directly.

29. To approve the minutes of the meeting held  19th February 2019  and approve the Chairman’s Signature.
Approved with minor corrections to roles of Cllr Cullen LCC & Cllr Harrison ELDC.  
Cllr Jenkinson proposed , Cllr Donner Seconded the approval of the Chairman’s signature

31. Updates from LCC or ELDC
Chalk Lane – nothing.
Budget has just gone through for LCC

32. Financial.

Following Cheques were approved for signature:      
Village Hall Hire Fees             £36.00
LALC Subscription                 £143.44
Next meeting will be looking at audit forms and signing them off.

33. Correspondence/Clerks Updates
Spring Cleaning – Copied into email, that mentions County Council street lighting.
Phone Call re: Dog noise at the end of Church Lane. It is not something that we as a Parish 
Council get involved with. If there are problems, ELDC need to be contacted.

34. Pot Holes Chalk Lane
All repaired – Have been told by the workmen that the longevity of the work is 6 months . Bought 5 tonnes of aggregate – Edges are not sealed.

36. Planning.

37. Parish Litter Picking
It was agreed that the Parish Council should organise a Parish Litter Pick.
A date was picked Saturday 4th May 2019. Members  Of the Parish Council have volunteered to undertake part, but more help is needed so need to “spread the Word” for more volunteers.
Cllr Acklam will contact ELDC for Litter picking equipment, which they will loan out, but if necessary it was It was agreed and decided to buy Hi Viz vests, Pickers, Litter Hoops. So that they belong to the      Village and can be used again in the future
